Life and AD&D Insurance (Accidental Death and Dismemberment)
A significant way of providing security to our employees is through our life and AD&D insurance coverages. All full-time employees are automatically provided company-paid term life and AD&D insurance. In addition, Green Tree offers employee-paid term life and AD&D insurance coverage for employees and their families.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Through Health and Dependent Care Spending Accounts, employees set aside money they anticipate spending for certain expenses on a pre-tax basis. After eligible expenses are incurred and submitted for reimbursement, employees are reimbursed with tax-free dollars from their account.

Short-Term Disability
Green Tree's short-term disability program is designed to provide continued compensation to eligible employees if an illness or injury prevents them from working. The short-term disability pay is a company-paid benefit, determined by an employee's length of service.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)
Green Tree provides full-time employees with company-paid LTD insurance coverage. Employees may also opt for additional LTD coverage.

Time Off
Everyone needs some time away to spend with family and friends. Green Tree's time off programs are structured to give you the flexibility you deserve. Full-time employees are eligible for vacation, sick, and holiday time off programs. New employees begin accruing vacation immediately upon hire.

401(k) Plan - Green Tree Savings and Investment Plan
More and more people are looking forward to retirement as a time for adventure. Reaching that adventure takes a sound financial plan, and Green Tree's 401(k) plan is a great way to get started. Green Tree employees can contribute up to 30% of their salary (subject to the limits imposed by federal law), which is then invested as they choose in ten diversified equity and bond investment options.

Green Tree pays its employees to save, too. Each pay period we match in cash 50% of all eligible deferral contributions, up to the first 6% of eligible compensation. Employees are vested in matching contributions on a four-year schedule: 1 year – 25% vested, 2 years – 50% vested, 3 years – 75% vested, and 4 years – 100% vested.

Continuing Education
Green Tree is supportive of employees furthering their education. Employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for approved courses, up to an annual maximum reimbursement amount.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Our EAP provides help for individuals experiencing a wide range of personal difficulties, including family and relationship problems or drug and alcohol dependency. All services provided by the EAP are confidential and available to both employees and their covered dependents.

Green Tree also offers programs that encourage open communications. Through In Touch, our confidential telephone hotline, and Direct Line, our e-mail program, employees are able to share their suggestions and comments directly with senior management.
